This app has some problems that need to be fixed.#1 cut or disconnect every hour of use!!

So far so bad! Doesnt work in background (no multitasking). Doesnt stream music through speakers, earphones or bluetooth. If you can improve these (Griffin) please DO IT!!!

I just got Griffins "Navigate" ipod controller, which they claim works with this app. IT DOESNT. the device doesnt see the app, and the app doesnt see the device. [the device works fime WITHOUT the app, and if you have a WiFI or data connection, I supppose you could use the app to find info about the stations you can then manually tune in using the Navigates manual control.

Just download this and connect the hardware receiver to my new ipod touch 4th gen....working very good and I enjoying listening my local radio stations through this device...highly recommended!!!

Can anyone tell me if this app is compatible or work with the iPhone 4?

This is a great combination of hardware and software to add a fm tuner to the iTouch. It has a minor bug with sound turning off every hour but it is easy to get it back on. Not hard on the battery. Reception is really good and matches any other good mp3 player with fm tuner.

If you could control with the volume buttons and use multitasking, this would be 5 stars.

Sound shuts off every ten min hopefull its fixed doesnt need wifi so cool

I use this app for my ifm. It works pretty good. I live within the average listening radius of the station I listen to most. Usually I am in the car (because Im 13 and dont want to listen to country music) and the connection isnt the greatest sometimes. Understandable considering the antenna is only 6 in. long. After the update I like this app a lot. Multitasking, reasonably priced (for the ifm receiver), and it does what it is designed to do. In future updates I would like to see the volume buttons to be integrated.

Initially quite pleased to discover this FM-radio-tuner for my iPhone 3GS, I was all set to consign my Gen1 iPod Nano-plus-FM-tuner to the old-tech drawer. Set-up for this Griffin devise is easy and logical; and price is right. But a first experience while listening to public-radios Prairie Home Companion had me re-booting the tuner-and-app combo exactly 12 times in two hours -- thats right, only 10 minutes of listening-time per "installment," even with the "No Sleep" option activated in the app and "Never Autolock" setting chosen for the iPhone. A curious, abnormal lapse, it seems, from Griffin whose accessories have always provided superior satisfaction in all prior encounters.

The idea is great but the practical application just isnt there yet. After getting connected, it cuts off after just a few minutes. Needless to say this is most annoying. Have to disconnect, re-connect, repeat, etc. I love the idea of this APP but Griffin must address and fix this problem soon if they expect to retain & attract customers.

Be carefull before buying the griffin navigator thinking you will be able to use this app. I called support and they told me The later versions of the iFM radio app no longer supports griffin navigator. And i wont be able to get the older versions either.

It works with the iPhone 4 really well. Just wish it would record FM

Works great though the stay awake function only works if the app is running, not if its in the background.

The stay awake function does not stay awake unless it is the current application being displayed. Very frustrating if trying to use application while reading e-mail and notes. I store notes for my workouts, and I cant read them at the same time while listening to the radio.

Great product bit like many other reviewers have said NO Multitasking. Come on give us an update. Then Ill give you 5 stars.

No multitasking and it switches of when you lock the screen.

I liked it until the update. It shuts off under lock screen and that drains my battery leaving the screen on

The latest update does not support multitasking and stay awake functionality is misleading please provide a fix
