Some errors ive encountered: the player runs fine till i put my ipod aside and it locks itself then i get about 10 mins and it cuts the radio off, when i unlock it the signal comes back, when i change the option to keep awake, i get no further problems. This is dumb as i would not get the same proformace as i should because now the screen would be on. this needs to be corrected. I also get some errors from the app, when it does the above, then the app just asks me to attach the ifm device, even though its running and i get radio, but i would be unable to change the station, or adjust the volume. you also need to allow for multi tasking, i should be able to check my email or use my banking app with out having to restart the ifm app. please correct these issues

The FM tuner is not too bad itself but the whole thing keeps crashing after a few minutes when mutlitasking or even when simply locking the iPhone (using iPhone 4 FW 4.3.1). I get the message saying to connect the iFM hardware... To avoid this, youll need to keep the app awake (with screen on) and therefore drain your battery. This is pretty disapointing as we are also unable to either play games or use Internet while listening to radio. Need a fix please...

Stop after mins and no multitasking

I have an original IFM for IPod. While I can use the IPhone to power this and listen via headphones this APP does not even recognize the older IFM version when connected

Have been using this for a year and despite the fact you couldnt multitask and that on occasion it wouldnt recognize the FM unit I was mostly happy with this because I could listen to FM without eating up all my data. Since the upgrade you now have to keep the screen active in order for it work. FFS doesnt anyone test these things before release???? What was a relatively decent product is now completely useless.

Update: works in the background and when the screen is off. -- I just got the iFM receiver for my iPod touch and this app fails to impress me. What century is the developer living in? No multitasking? When you turn the screen off, the radio stops? WTF? You want us to keep the app open with the display ON? Batteries arent supposed to be taken for granted!

The app said you have to have special headphones, I couldnt even try it!

Is perfect because the poste is PERFECT

When you download it u need a special type of head-phones. No wonder why the app is free.

In order to use iFM, you must first buy their hardware to plug into your device.

The app works great if you havethe required hardware discussed in the description.
