iFM Radio Controller App Reviews

Belkin took an average app and made it completely unacceptable. Now I understand why the update explanation said "minor updates." If Id known the app would stop functioning whenever I lock my phone, I wouldnt have updated. My only solution for this is to turn the display brightness all the way down to preserve battery life. If that werent bad enough, there are clicking sounds when I listen to a radio station. It doesnt happen all the time, but often enough to be maddening. I purchased the iFM adapter to listen to sporting events on my iPhone because theyre usually blacked out on the tune-in app. For this application, the Belkin adapter is passable. But without multitasking and phone lock capabilities, Id advise potential purchasers to avoid it.

Horrible update released in jun-2012 that forces u to keep apps with phone in unlocked state. No easy way to rollback. Worst App

Update now good! Full radio with phone function. Still no iPhone headphone jack or side volume buttons. But much better now!

I´m really happy with this update. Now with multitasking!!!!!!

Now it woks fine I give 4 stars. It still need to control volume using iphone buttons and change station memories with earphone control

Yes! Multitasking support rocks much better guys! Just a thought, I wonder if it is possible to connect to the media controls that most music apps use so that one may switch between favorite stations and/or get info on what is playing in the multitask bar.

WARNING!! Does not work with lightning adapter. Tried with old connector to new connector adapter - no joy there either.

Does not work unless you own additional iFM hardware.

Bought a adapter to try with lightning cable. Doesnt work on 5. Works on iPod touch though. I go to a lot of live sporting events and like to listen to the game while I watch. Its disappointing that Apple doesnt include an FM receiver like my droid did

Dont even know where to get the stupid stuff!! I hate when I download something then find out u have to have something else for it to work!! They should tell u that from beginning!!

You should not have to use the garmin device to use this app.

What about people who dont have ifm receivers. I think the ifm app should work with or without it.

You have to have soft ware for the app to work if i could i would give it no stares

This app doesnt work with regular headphones?

Is working without any issues - on three devices - my iPad 3, iPhone 4S AND yes an iPad Mini 1st Gen - all devices using iOS 7.1 FIRST for ANY device you need the Griffin Tech device NOT just this app - WHY? because Apple did not build an FM receiver into the iPad or iPhones (some iPods do have them) - the Griffin device is an FM receiver . . . This software only operates the device on you iPhone/iPad. SECOND - works fine with “lightning connector” - using on my iPad Mini 1st Gen - iOS 7.1 BUT - you need the Apple brand "Lightning to 30-pin Adapter" (0.2 m) - (I’ve not tried it with any other adapters so can’t verify those.) THIRD - I am using the Apple ear buds with mic which came with my iPhone have not had any issues

Downloaded it and wont work sad was looking forward to it another failed app.
